Privacy
ClawSound.net runs in your browser. A BIN, WAV, or MP3 you open is read and converted on your own device. Those files are not uploaded to us, and we do not keep a copy of them.
There are no accounts. The site does not ask for your name, email, or payment details, and it does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
The company that hosts the website may keep ordinary connection logs, such as an IP address, the time of the visit, and the page requested. Those logs belong to the host and are handled under that company's own policy. This tool does not receive them.
If this changes, this page will be updated.
Trade marks
Machine and company names on this site are used only so you can match a sound file to a board. They belong to their owners. ClawSound.net is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them.
Names found on a trade mark register include Candy Crane, Pirates Chest and Prize Time (Smart Industries), Prize Cube (Coast to Coast Entertainment), Extra Play and Feiloli (Feiloli Electronic), and Coastal Amusements. The Feiloli model called Toy Story is not part of Disney's franchise. Those words are a Disney trade mark, and they are used here only so you can identify that Feiloli board. Other names on the site may also be trade marks. They are written here as plain text, without the ® symbol, because that symbol is only for the owner of a registration.
Original game audio, artwork and software stay with their owners. This site does not include that audio. Do not load music, voices or other recordings you do not have the right to use.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is, free of charge. It is not guaranteed to suit every board, every ROM size, or every programmer. Check the downloaded file in the tool, and keep your original dump, before you erase a chip. The machine lists are a guide. Listen before you lock in a sample rate, because the wrong rate plays every sound at the wrong speed.
Machines and liability
You use ClawSound.net at your own risk. A ROM fitted the wrong way, including upside down, or forced into the socket, can damage the chip or the board. That is uncommon when the chip is seated the same way as the one you removed, but it can happen.
To the extent the law allows, the operator of ClawSound.net is not liable for damage to a machine, lost business, corrupted files, or any other loss from using this site or a file it creates.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or changes any right or guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot legally be excluded.
These terms
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Using the site means you accept these terms.
